Sansevieria is most commonly known as the snake plant, Saint George’s sword, mother-in-law’s tongue, and viper’s bowstring hemp. Virtually indestructible, snake plants grow best when you ignore them.
- Light: Low light to bright, direct sun. They’re the perfect plant to bring life to a dark room or corner.
- Soil: Well-draining; succulent or cactus soil is ideal.
- Humidity: Normal room humidity
- Water: Water sparingly; let the soil dry between waterings.
- Temperature: Average temperatures, between 60-90F.
- Fertilizing: Every month with an all-purpose houseplant water soluble fertilizer.
