Schefflera Amate (Umbrella Plant)

Also known as the Umbrella Tree for its beautiful leaf structure, its bright glossy green leaves and low maintenance add warmth to your home or office. 

• Light: Moderate to bright indirect light.
• Soil: Peat based potting mix with 2 parts peat moss and 1 part perlite as well as organic matter (worm castings).
• Humidity: Average to high room humidity
• Water: Let plant to dry out significantly between waterings. Don’t want to water your Schefflera more than once every 10 days.
• Temperature: Average temperatures, between 65-80F.
• Fertilizing: Every month with an all-purpose houseplant water soluble fertilizer diluted to half-strength.
• Leaves: Every three months, rinse your plant’s leaves to prevent pests and remove any dust.
